Born in 2012 during a GMHM expedition that opened a new alpine-style route on the west face of Kamet (7,756 m) in Pakistan, it has evolved over time without ever losing its DNA: being an essential piece of modern mountaineering.

Robust from the start, it has reinvented itself with each new version—first becoming lighter, then adopting the new PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE membrane*, while maintaining the same waterproof-breathable performance. After 11 years in our collection, this jacket has been updated with a design tailored to modern mountaineering.

Still just as durable thanks to its outer fabric made of 100% recycled polyamide, the KAMET GORE-TEX retains its legendary versatility. The redesigned, helmet-compatible hood with precise adjustments and pre-shaped sleeves optimizes mobility on the wall. Designed to tackle a range of conditions and support all your alpine pursuits, it stays true to Millet’s core strengths: durability, reliability, and technical performance.

ACTIVE FIT™

Close fitting all over the body, and sightly tighter in the lower section for greater streamlining and thus higher performance during exertion. Often used with stretch fabrics for enhanced comfort.

GORE-TEX® products made garments are durably waterproof, windproof and highly breathable. Highly resistant, it offers maximum comfort and protection.
